China travel
What do I need to be able to say, hear, or read for this task?
A trip to China is one reason to learn. It is not a second website. A page belongs here when the task is something you have to say, hear, or read: paying, taking a train or a taxi, checking into a room, ordering food, finding a pharmacy.
Remove the Chinese from the page and it should fall apart. If it still reads as a city guide, an attraction list, or a hotel roundup, it does not belong on Hanzi Heard.
What will live here
- The language task, the phrases that do the job, and what to do if you cannot say them yet.
- A pointer back to the skill or course that would make the next trip easier.
- Practical steps that stay attached to a named place, system, or date when the rule is local.
What does not belong
- Top-ten sights, weekend itineraries, and pages that still work after the Mandarin is deleted.
- Visa, insurance, or ticket advice presented as if this site were a travel agency.
Nothing on this shelf is a finished lesson yet. When a page is published, it will name its sources. The rules for that are in the editorial policy.
